The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

The Prophets

Dogmatic Series of Christianity

After several years of wrestling through the Bible multiple times, I was ready, driven by the Holy Spirit, for some heavier fare. I purchased a complete dogmatic series and began a serious amateur theology course. Every day, several hours a day, I studied the Scriptures. From a baby Christian I became a mature Christian. After reading and studying the books ad nauseam, I was ready for a new challenge.

Bible Explanation of the Prophets

Driven by the Holy Spirit, I decided to throw myself into the prophetic Word and ended up with a Bible Explanation of the Prophets. I bought the entire work and began studying the prophetic Word in good spirits. Every day, several hours a day, I studied the prophets. I learned to discover the logic in God's Word, which was very appealing to me as a PLC programmer. This could not be otherwise because one Holy Spirit taught all the prophets it must be one sound. Also, the empirical evidence, that all the pieces fell into place, rules out coincidence.

Yeshua says the following about the prophets of the Bible:

Matthew 5:17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Luke 18:31: Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
Luke 24:27: And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24:44: And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

So what about the prophets after Yeshua?

Yeshua warns us of many false prophets who will come in His Name according to the Bible texts below in the Bible book of Matthew:

Matthew 24:11: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24:24: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

And also elsewhere in the Bible, God warns us of false prophets who will come in Yeshua's Name according to the Bible texts below:

2 Peter 2:1: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1 John 4:1: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Some well-known false prophets from our history are: Muhammad (Islam - 610 A.D.), Jakob Lorber (1840 A.D.), Joseph Smith (Mormons - 1827 A.D.), Charles Taze Russel (Jehovah's Witnesses - 1870 A.D.) and the many new age movements.

These religions, founded by these prophets, all have something in common and that is that they claim that the Bible has been falsified. Yeshua would have actually taught something other than what is written in the Bible. We should, according to these prophets, read the Bible differently and according to the teachings of these false prophets.

The big problem I have with this is that the gods of these prophets were incapable of safeguarding the original Bible texts through the ages. These false prophets I would ask: So where did the original Bible go? Was not your god omnipotent to safeguard the original? This is what my whole faith is based on. How can I believe in a religion that refers to the Bible as the basis of their faith but then claims that the same Bible is forged? Such a faith teaches a contradiction where their lies are impossible to verify.

Faithful followers of these prophets should ask themselves the following questions: What prophecies of the Old Testament prophets can these false prophets relate to themselves, as Yeshua did? And why didn't God allow a third Testament to be added to the Bible about one of these prophets, with all the accompanying Biblical prophecies about this “prophet”? The answer is very simple: there are no prophecies in the Bible about any prophet after Yeshua outside the Bible.

The Jews and Christians do not have this problem of confusion. According to them, the Bible is the original and God guaranteed the Bible from the beginning of His creation of heaven and earth. It is precisely the opponents of Christians who cause confusion and doubt God's Word the Bible. Thereby, unlike the Jews, Christians also believe in the Bible text below:

Acts 3:18: But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

Which of the false prophets fulfilled the above Bible text of the Bible prophets and suffered like Yeshua?

Prophets after Yeshua may never contradict the Bible but like Yeshua, these Prophets will always confirm the Bible.

Then there are New Age movements that claim that sins do not exist and all you have to do is not let your “ego” rear its head. One tries to accomplish this by endless meditation, but if one is honest one must admit that one never gets the “ego” under it. This is the ultimate proof that sins do exist. For why does one not get control of the “ego”? Right, because one is a sinful person who needs forgiveness for his sinful nature. And the only one who can solve this problem is Yeshua who died for our sins (read “ego”).

Do Christians worship three gods?

A common argument, especially among Muslims, is that Christians would worship three gods. However, Christians base their faith on the following Bible texts:

Yeshua is worshiped in the following Bible texts in the Bible book of Matthew:

Matthew 2:2: Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him (Yeshua).
Matthew 2:8: And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him (Yeshua) also.
Matthew 2:11: And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him (Yeshua): and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Matthew 14:33: Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him (Yeshua), saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
Matthew 28:9: And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him (Yeshua).
Matthew 28:17: And when they saw him, they worshipped him (Yeshua): but some doubted.

Then the following Bible texts for reflection:

John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word (Yeshua), and the Word (Yeshua) was with God, and the Word (Yeshua) was God.
John 1:2: The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3: All things were made by him (Yeshua); and without him (Yeshua) was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:14: And the Word was made flesh (Yeshua), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 10:30: I (Yeshua) and my Father are one.
John 14:9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
John 14:10: Believest thou not that I (Yeshua) am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I (Yeshua) speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:11: Believe me (Yeshua) that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me (Yeshua) for the very works' sake.

Romans 9:5: Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
John 4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Galatians 3:20: Now a mediator (Yeshua) is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
2 Corinthians 13:14: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
1 John 5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Yeshua), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

As I let the above Bible texts sink in, I cannot help but conclude that God the Father (Yahweh), God the Son (Yeshua) and God the Holy Spirit are one. So Christians do not worship three gods but one God. Can we Christians grasp this with our minds or can we now fathom God? No in contrast, the Bible teaches us the following in the Bible text below:

Romans 11:33: O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

However, we Christians believe the Bible and do what Yeshua tells us to do and believe like a child according to the Bible text below:

Matthew 18:3: And said (Yeshua), Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The Bible Book of Revelation

The last prophetic Word of the Bible is the Bible book of Revelation by the prophet John, which is end-time prophecy in its entirety. This is also the most difficult Bible book to understand because the prophet John uses a lot of symbolic language. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I began to delve into the Bible book of Revelation. Contrary to what most Bible teachers teach, about the time of Yeshua's Second Coming, I came to a very different conclusion, which you can read under the The Second Coming button.
